At its annual Build developer conference today, Microsoft announces to open up access to Windows 11 widgets to developers as companions to their win32 or PWA apps. Currently, we at FineShare design team find a great many of good practices delivered by Microsoft native widgets, like Outlook, Photos To Do apps, and other web-powered ones that show the weather, entertainment, or news feeds in the dedicated widgets panel.
However, seeing today’s Sport timeline, Twitter feeds or WhatsApp messages in a widget is far away from enough. How about let the widget to manage, test and preview your webcams in one place? This way, you don’t have to hurry to answer a Zoom call with a terrible look, or look for a webcam without knowing your iPhone can be one. So we have a try to design a Windows 11 Widget concept for our VibeCam, which we believe would be helpful for managing your webcams in a handy and smart way.
